Thousands of devotees gather here
at the time of fair to take a holy dip in the sacred waters of river
Chandrabhaga. The main event organized here is a big cattle fair studded
with lifestocks like camels, horses, cows, bullocks and buffaloes that
are brought here from far-off places like Madhya Pradesh and
Maharashtra. The fair provides the good opportunity to the tourists to
glimpse the religion, culture, trends and traditions, commercial
practices and rituals of the people, all at once.
